Armedia LLC, was recently certified as a participant in the U.S. Business Administrationís (SBA) 8(a) Business Development (BD) program. This nine year program is designed to help minority owned small business be successful into the future.

Armedia will receive business development assistance from an assigned Business
Opportunity Specialist. Furthermore, Armedia will be eligible to participate in
bidding for 8(a) set-aside contracts. ďThe 8(a) certification will allow our

Armedia has also been certified as a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) in the Federal Governmentís SDB program. This program provides support for government contractors, access to capital, management and technical assistance, and export assistance. The goal of the SBA is to promote community in neighborhoods, create jobs, and encourage economic growth by building community-based small businesses. SBA uses a number of assistance intervention tools, ranging from contract support to low-interest loans for site acquisition, construction, and the purchase of new or upgraded equipment.
