ACOM Solutions, Inc. Online Store Announces Program for Recycling Printer Cartridges

ACOM Solutions, Inc. launched a cyber store dealing in inkject and laser printer supplies, printing paper and blank security check stock. It now has created a program to recycle used cartridges and reduce their presence in landfills. Free packaging, labels and shipping are available at the website:

Long Beach, CA (PRWEB) May 21, 2005 -- The ACOM Solutions, Inc. online printer supplies store,, has inaugurated a program for recycling used laser printer and inkjet cartridges and it has extended access to the program to both customers and non-customers, it was announced today by Gregory T. Church, vice president of marketing and communications.
“This is an environment-friendly move,” he said. “We sell cartridges for virtually all types and makes of printers and therefore can accept all printing supply cartridges. We re-use them wherever possible, but never more than once. Our objective is to take them out of the environment because if they are consigned to land fills, these cartridges may never disintegrate and if they should, they could leach dangerous chemicals into the soil or into nearby aquifers.”
Persons interested in participating in ACOM’s cartridge recycling program can do so by registering at and setting up recycling account. Following registration, they will be able to obtain at no charge whatever shipping supplies they need to send in their used cartridges: boxes, bags and labels that can be downloaded for printing. Postage is prepaid and there is no charge for shipping, Church said.
ACOM’s online store carries more than 600 different OEM and ACOM-branded premium compatible imaging supplies for all major brands of inkjet, bubble jet, and conventional, MICR, and color laser printers. It also offers ACOM-branded blank security check stock and envelopes and pressure-seal self-mailer check stock for use with MICR-laser check printing solutions. Custom-printed check stock for popular accounting systems like Peachtree, QuickBooks and Quicken are available as well.
“Our ACOM-branded premium compatible toner products are priced at up to 50 percent less than competing products in their class,” Church noted. “They are high quality, high value products that are manufactured to our specifications and test out as good as or better than other compatible products in the market. Tests have demonstrated that in many cases, ACOM brand toner cartridges yield significantly more page prints per unit than OEM and competing compatible product counterparts, so the cost-per-page declines accordingly.”
